* * * Animal totem: the bear … * * *

This necklace is a long necklace... a multitude of fine stones: facets in pyrite, jade, apatite, turquoise, chrysoprase, garnet punctuated with a howlite cross, an ancient Roman glass bead, little bears sculpted in aventurine, artisanal medals with different motifs, hand-painted beads, a pewter-soldered garnet charm, a tiny very old "Our Lady of Lourdes" medal, Chinese porcelain, Czech glass and howlite beads, a pearl in metal "owl", an eagle charm with ethnic accents and a sculpted bear standing in turquoise. The necklace is finished with a long leather link... Its "owl" bead allows you to adapt the length to your liking to wear it in more or less long necklace or in double by tying the link on the front...

I made the medals from recycled metal; cutting, patterning, sanding, and multiple coats of varnish and glazing. I soldered the small garnet chip, painted the beads and the eye charm. I found the medal "Notre Dame de Lourdes" in the surroundings being in the Pyrenees...

Then I put on my photographer's costume… I try to be as faithful as possible but some differences may appear depending on the setting of each screen….

- L. of the necklace from the middle of the neck to the bottom of the pendant: approx. 53cm.

- Total length of the necklace; approx. 102cm.

REMINDER: 1 " +/- = 2,54 cm.
